Mozart in the Chilterns

For the second concert of the season, English Sinfonia returns with a programme featuring a firm favourite, Mozart’s wonderful Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, in arrangement for piano and string quintet. The programme also includes a beautiful piece for strings by the great American composer Florence Price and ends with Elgar’s most substantial piece of chamber music: the thrilling Piano Quintet.
